ASP.NET is only supported on the following platforms:

- Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional (Microsoft recommends Service Pack 2)

- Microsoft Windows 2000 Server (Microsoft recommends Service Pack 2)

- Microsoft Windows XP Professional

- Microsoft Windows .NET Server family

You can develop ASP.NET applications by running Visual Studio .NET on a Windows
NT client platform. However, this scenario requires access to a Web server that
is running Internet Information Services (IIS) 5.0 or later.
