The minimum requirements for Macintosh Internet Explorer 5.x are as follows:

- Macintosh Operating System 7.6.1 or later

- 8 MB or RAM with virtual memory enabled

- 12 MB of available hard disk space for Internet Explorer

- QuickTime version 3.0 or later

- Open Transport 1.2 or later (for dial up connections)

- OT Point to Point Protocol (PPP) or similar PPP connection software (control
  panel) with PPP (extension)

- 28.8 kbps modem or higher

- Access to the Internet through an Internet service provider (ISP) or the
  network to which your computer is connected

To clear the history in Internet Explorer 5.x

1. Start Internet Explorer.

2. Click Edit, and then click Preferences.

3. In Preferences, double-click the Web Browser menu.

4. Under Web Browser, click Advanced.

5. Under History, click Clear History.

6. When prompted "Are you sure you want to clear your history?", click OK.

7. Click OK to close the Internet Explorer Preferences window.
