nVidia GeForce2 Chip Set
------------------------
When you attempt to start Microsoft Asheron's Call, you may see one of the
following symptoms:
- The screen may turn black.
- The game may not start.
- The game may quit unexpectedly.
To resolve this issue, disable the anti-aliasing feature of the video adapter. To
do this, follow these steps:
1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
2. Double-click Display, and then click the Settings tab.
3. Click Advanced, and then click the GeForce tab.
4. Click Additional Properties, and then click 3D Antialiasing Settings.
5. Click to select "Manually select the antialiasing mode", and then click to
select "Off (no antialiasing)".
6. Click OK, click OK again, and then click OK again.
ATI Technologies RADEON VE video card

When you play Microsoft Asheron's Call, the game may stop responding (hang) or
quit unexpectedly, and then your screen displays the Microsoft Windows desktop.
To resolve this issue, download and install the latest video driver for your
video adapter, or disable 3D Acceleration mode.

When you play Microsoft Asheron's Call, you may be able to see the end of the
world from an extremely high altitude. This behavior can occur because the fog
and hazing effects do not properly obscure the end of the world in the
distance.

When you play Microsoft Asheron's Call, detailed textures may not be displayed
properly. Lines may appear in the landscape and buildings may appear grainy.
To work around this issue, disable Detail Textures. To do this, follow these
steps:
1. On the Microsoft Asheron's Call game screen, click Options in the lower-right
corner of the screen.
2. Click the Sound/Graphics tab.
3. Under Detail Textures, click to clear the Landscape and Environment check
boxes.
4. Click Apply.

Call graphic requirements such as additive transparencies.
Rendition Verite 1000 Chip Set

When you use Rendition Verite 1000 chip set in combination with a 3Dfx Voodoo
chip set, when you click Settings on the Microsoft Asheron's Call startup screen
and then click 3D Settings, the incorrect video driver may appear in the Driver
box.
This problem does not affect the actual video driver that is used in the game.
Microsoft Asheron's Call uses the video adapter and driver that you select.
