SYMPTOMS
========

When you use a Windows NT 4.0-based computer as a member of a domain and you
audit account log off events, Lsass.exe may experience an access violation that
causes the computer to be unusable.


CAUSE
=====

This problem occurs because the component does not properly handle the string
for the account name.

RESOLUTION
==========

A supported fix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to
correct the problem described in this article and should be applied only to
systems experiencing this specific problem.
