SUMMARY
=======

You have been using Netscape Communicator 4.77 or 6.X for Web browsing and you
would like your Bookmarks transferred into Internet Explorer 5.X as Favorites.

MORE INFORMATION

Using the Import/Export feature of the browsers, export the Netscape Bookmarks
to your Desktop, and then import the Bookmarks into Internet Explorer as
Favorites.

To import bookmarks as Favorites from Netscape Communicator 4.77 to Internet
Explorer 5.x

1. Start Netscape Communicator (Navigator) 4.77.

2. On the menu bar, click Communicator.

3. From the menu, select Bookmarks.

4. From the sub-menu, click Edit Bookmarks.

5. From the menu bar, click File, and then click Save As.

6. Save the Bookmark file to your Desktop as Netscape.html.

7. Start Internet Explorer.

8. Click File, and then click Import and Export.

9. Click the Next button.

10. Select Import Favorites, and then click Next.

11. Select Import from a File or Address.

12. Click Browse.

13. Select Netscape.html, and then click Next.

14. Select a location to store the Bookmarks.
  Note: The default location is your Favorites folder.

15. Click Next, click Finish, and then click OK.

To import bookmarks as Favorites from Netscape Communicator 6.0 to Internet
Explorer 5.x

1. Start Netscape 6.0.
  Note: If necessary, select the appropriate profile, and then click Start
  Netscape 6.0.

2. From the menu, click Bookmarks.

3. Select Manage Bookmarks.

4. Click File, and then select Export Bookmarks.

5. Save the Bookmark File to your Desktop as Netscape.html.

6. Start Internet Explorer.

7. Click File, and then click Import and Export.

8. Click the Next button.

9. Select Import Favorites, and then click Next.

10. Select Import from a File or Address.

11. Click Browse.

12. Select Netscape.html, and then click Next.

13. Select a location to store the Bookmarks.
  Note: The default location is your Favorites folder.

14. Click Next, click Finish, and then click OK.
