SYMPTOMS
========
You sign in to MSN Explorer 6.0, and then click My Stocks. You click the Go to
My Stocks link. You add a stock ticker that is nine characters or longer, and is
preceded with a colon (this is necessary for many international stocks). MSN
Explorer may shut down.
CAUSE
=====
This is a known issue.
RESOLUTION
==========
Upgrade to the latest version of MSN Explorer. You can get the latest version
from http://explorer.msn.com, or by forcing an update. To force an update
1. Sign in to MSN Explorer.
2. In the upper-right corner, click the More Choices link.
3. Click About MSN Explorer, and then, in the window that appears, click the
More Info... button.
4. Scroll to the top of the page that appears, and then click the Update MSN
Explorer now link (located just before Update history).
The latest update to MSN Explorer will download and install on your computer.
