SYMPTOMS
========
You click the Forgot My Password link in MSN Explorer 6.1, and then follow the
directions to reset your password. Before signing in with the new password, you
click the Add New User link. A box appears asking for the account manager's
password, and you type the new password in the box. If the password you type is
different from the previous password for the account you are signing in with, an
error message will appear stating that the password is invalid.
CAUSE
=====
This is a known issue.
RESOLUTION
==========
To resolve this issue
- Sign in to the primary account with the new password.
Note: Do not check the box for offline e-mail when signing in. After you have
signed in successfully with the new password, the new password will be set as
the account manager password for the machine, allowing you to add new users.
