SYMPTOMS
========

When you attempt to start Help in any of the programs listed in the "applies to"
section of this article, you may receive no response.

CAUSE
=====

This behavior can occur if you install Microsoft Office XP on a computer on
which any of the programs listed in the "applies to" section are already
installed.


RESOLUTION
==========

To resolve this issue, reinstall the program in which you have lost access to
Help.

MORE INFORMATION
================

The installation of Office XP changes the way in which certain products access
their Help files. The Help files are not damaged or corrupted, but they are
unable to start from within the programs listed in the "applies to" section.
