SYMPTOMS
========

You may receive the following error message for Win32k.sys on a blue screen in
Windows NT 4.0 Terminal Server:

  STOP 0x0000001e (0xc0000005, 0xa308cdf8, 0x00000001, 0x00000051)

The last two parameters may change, but the first two are always the same.

CAUSE
=====

A timing problem while creating a thread may cause a pointer to be dereferenced
before it is initialized.

RESOLUTION
==========

A supported fix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to
correct the problem described in this article and should be applied only to
systems experiencing this specific problem.
