SYMPTOMS
========

When you start one of the games listed at the beginning of this article, you may
experience any of the following symptoms:

- The screen may turn black after the opening movie is played.

- The game may stop responding (hang) when the startup screen is displayed.

- The game may quit unexpectedly while you are playing the game.

- The game may hang during game play.

- You may receive the following error message:

  <Game> caused an invalid page fault in module <filename>.

CAUSE
=====

This behavior can occur if the following conditions are true:

- Your computer has an upgraded processor that meets the minimum system
  requirements for the game.

- The original processor in your computer did not meet the minimum system
  requirements for the game.

MORE INFORMATION
================

Even though the processor itself now meets or exceeds the minimum system
requirements for the game, the components on the motherboard are designed to
operate at a slower speed and may not be able to handle the graphics in the
game.
