SYMPTOMS
========
When you use the Find feature in one of the programs listed at the beginning of
this article, the default country setting may be United States rather than
Canada.
CAUSE
=====
This behavior occurs if the language regional settings are set to English
(United States).
RESOLUTION
==========
To resolve this issue, change the default language settings. To do this, follow
these steps:
Windows 2000
1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
2. Double-click the Regional Options icon.
3. Click the General tab. In the Your locale (location) list, select either
English (Canada) or French (Canada).
4. Click OK.
Windows 95, Windows 98, or Windows ME
1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
2. Double-click the Regional Settings icon.
3. Click the Regional Settings tab.
4. In the Language list, select English. In the Country/Region list select
Canada.
5. Click OK.
6. Restart your computer.
The next time you start Streets and Trips 2001 or MapPoint 2001 and use the Find
feature the default country will be set to Canada.
