SYMPTOMS
========

- During Start up, the system passes by the "COMPAQ" logo and halts at the MSN
  Starting screen or at a white screen. Unplugging and plugging the device back
  in does not clear the problem. The customer can reproduce this issue 100
  percent of the time.

CAUSE
=====

- The device is permanently damaged and must be returned.

RESOLUTION
==========

- Instruct the customer to return the device to the point of purchase and
  exchange it for a new device.
