SYMPTOMS
========

Compaq IA-2 devices only.

- When the system is booted on the "COMPAQ" logo comes up and remains there.

- In the upper left hand corner it reads

  no boot device present, system halting

- This is happens every time.

CAUSE
=====

There is a problem with the hardware.

RESOLUTION
==========

If you receive support requests from customers who wish to return MSN Companion
Internet devices, direct them to contact Compaq. Do not refer these customers
back to Radio Shack.
