To play Microsoft MechWarrior 4: Vengeance, you need:

- Multimedia personal computer with a Pentium II 300 MHz or higher processor

- Microsoft Windows 95, Microsoft Windows 98, Microsoft Windows Millennium
  Edition (Me), or Microsoft Windows 2000 operating system

- 64 megabytes (MB) of random access memory (RAM)

- 650 MB of available hard disk space for a typical installation, plus an
  additional 125 MB of available hard disk space for the Windows swap file

- 8x speed or faster CD-ROM drive

- Microsoft Mouse or compatible pointing device

- DirectX 8.0 or later (included on the compact disc)

- Sound card compatible with DirectX 8.0 or later with speakers or headphones
  for audio playback

- PCI or AGP video adapter compatible with DirectX 8.0 or later with 8 MB or
  more of video RAM and Direct3D support

- Super VGA monitor capable of displaying 16-bit color or higher

- Keyboard

- Joystick or game controller compatible with DirectInput

To play Microsoft MechWarrior 4: Vengeance with other players, you also need:

- 64 MB of RAM for Windows 95, Windows 98, or Windows Me; 96 MB of RAM for
  Windows 2000

- 28,800 bits-per-second (bps) or faster modem, or local area network (LAN)
