SYMPTOMS
========

When you delete a large project in Visual SourceSafe, the graphical user
interface (GUI) may appear to hang. If you end the Visual SourceSafe process
unexpectedly, the result can be database corruption.

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a bug in the Microsoft products listed at the
beginning of this article. This bug was corrected in the latest service pack for
Visual Studio 6.0.
