The MSN Companion has several secret codes that give access to special
troubleshooting information on the device or that perform special
troubleshooting actions.

These codes are:

- FIXIT - gives access to advanced dialing settings; also lets you change the
  password that is stored on the device and used for automatic login. (See:

- HAMMER - resets all dialing settings (See: Q274364 - MSN Companion
  Troubleshooting Tool HAMMER)

- MURMUR - removes all of the current user's information, and reset the device
  so that you can use a new Member ID. (See: Q279037 - MSN Companion
  Troubleshooting Tool MURMUR)

How do I enter the secret codes?
--------------------------------

1. Turn on the MSN Companion and immediately click do not connect.

2. On the main troubleshooting page click I have some other problem that isn't
  described above.

3. In the text entry box type the secret code and click Go.

  Note: be certain you know what each code does and does not do before you
  activate it.
