SYMPTOMS
========

SNA Server Manager or the SNA Server MMC Snap-in may stop responding (hang) when
you quite the program after you open a large SNA Server configuration file
(Com.cfg). In addition, the CPU utilization on the system that is running SNA
Server Manager may spike at 100 percent (%) when you attempt to quit SNA Server
Manager.

CAUSE
=====

SNA Server Manager loops when it releases objects from its shared memory list.

RESOLUTION
==========

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for SNA Server 4.0. For
additional information, please see the following article in the Microsoft
Knowledge Base:

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft SNA Server version
4.0.

This problem was first corrected in SNA Server 4.0 Service Pack 4.
