SYMPTOMS
========

After you dismount an NTFS volume, your computer may become unresponsive, or it
may stop responding (hang).

CAUSE
=====

This problem can occur if NTFS does not release the lock to the system bitmap
file-control block.

RESOLUTION
==========

A supported fix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to
correct the problem described in this article and should be applied only to
systems experiencing this specific problem.
