SYMPTOMS
========

When a P772 message that has an MSP4 type message embedded within it is sent
over an X.400 connector, the embedded message gets downgraded to an MSP3 type
message. If the same message is sent to user on the same server, this issue does
not occur.

RESOLUTION
==========

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Exchange Server 5.5.

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Exchange Server
version 5.5. This problem was first corrected in Exchange Server 5.5 Service
Pack 4.
