SYMPTOMS
========

If you play Microsoft Golf 2001 Edition on a Microsoft Windows 2000-based
computer and a password-protected screen saver initializes, you may experience
the following symptoms:

- Microsoft Golf 2001 Edition may quit unexpectedly.

- The screen saver may activate, forcing you to log back on to Windows 2000.

- The Microsoft Windows desktop may retain the resolution and the color depth
  that you configured the game to use.

In addition, you may receive the following error message when you log back on to
Windows 2000:

  DirectDraw Init Failed

RESOLUTION
==========

To prevent this issue from occurring, turn off password-protected screen savers
when you play Golf 2001 on a Windows 2000-based computer.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Golf 2001 Edition.
