SUMMARY
=======

When you use the QuickDefine feature of Microsoft Encarta World English
Dictionary with Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5, Internet Explorer opens a new
browser window. The following text is displayed in the address bar of the new
browser window

  msed:\\-d-h-w"word"\

where word is the word that you want to define.

At the same time, the QuickDefine window opens and displays the correct
definition of the word.

MORE INFORMATION

This behavior does not affect the performance of Encarta World English
Dictionary or of Internet Explorer.

This behavior does not occur with Internet Explorer 5 or 5.01, or with Microsoft
Encarta World English Dictionary 2001.
