SYMPTOMS
========

When you attempt to play the First Punic War campaign in Microsoft Age of
Empires Expansion: The Rise of Rome, the game may quit unexpectedly when you
start the campaign.

CAUSE
=====

This behavior can occur if you manually install the First Punic War campaign by
copying the Campaign folder from an installation of Age of Empires Expansion:
The Rise of Rome Demo into the retail version of Age of Empires Expansion: The
Rise of Rome.

Additionally, the First Punic War campaign may not run correctly in the version
of Microsoft Age of Empires Expansion: The Rise of Rome that is installed when
you install the Age of Empires Gold Edition.

RESOLUTION
==========

To resolve this issue, install the Microsoft Age of Empires Expansion: The Rise
of Rome update.

To download and install the Microsoft Age of Empires Expansion: The Rise of Rome
update, visit the following Microsoft Web site:
