SYMPTOMS
========

When you attempt to start Microsoft Age of Empires II Expansion: The Conquerors,
the game may quit unexpectedly after the first splash screen is displayed.

CAUSE
=====

This behavior can occur if both of the following conditions are true:

- A video adapter based on the 3DLabs Oxygen VX1 chip set is installed in your
  computer.
- You updated to use the latest video driver for your video adapter.

RESOLUTION
==========

To resolve the issue, uninstall the latest 3DLabs video driver, and then
reinstall the video driver that was included with your video adapter or your
computer.
