SYMPTOMS
========

In Outlook 2000, if you select a calendar appointment and copy it, and then
attempt to paste the appointment to a different day, a duplicate appointment is
created on the original date.

RESOLUTION
==========

A supported fix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to
correct the problem described in this article and should be applied only to
systems experiencing this specific problem. This fix may receive additional
testing at a later time, to further ensure product quality. Therefore, if you
are not severely affected by this problem, Microsoft recommends that you wait
for the next Microsoft Outlook 2000 service release that contains this fix.

To resolve this problem immediately, contact Microsoft Product Support Services

WORKAROUND
==========

To work around this problem, apply Outlook 2000 Service Release 1 (SR-1), and
then apply the post-SR-1 fix for Microsoft Office 2000.
