SYMPTOMS
========
When you start Microsoft StarLancer for the first time, the game may stop
responding (hang) during the 3D hardware detection process.
CAUSE
=====
This behavior can occur if one of the following conditions is true:
- A 3D accelerator card based on the 3Dfx Voodoo chip set is installed in your
computer.
- A video adapter based on the 3Dfx Voodoo2 chip set is installed in your
computer.
- A Diamond Stealth G460 video adapter is installed in your computer.
RESOLUTION
==========
To resolve this issue, contact your hardware manufacturer to inquire about how
to obtain and install the latest version of the driver for your 3D accelerator
card or your video adapter.
