SYMPTOMS
========

If a program that was developed by using the Wang Image Edit control performs a
copy and paste of an image between two instances of the Wang Image Edit control
repeatedly, the operation may eventually stop working and generate the following
error messages:

  -2147417848 (80010108) - Method "ClipboardCopy" of object "_DimgEdit"
  failed.

  Run Time Error 7: Out of Memory. Unable to display a blank image

CAUSE
=====

A memory leak problem associated with the Wang Image Edit control causes these
error messages to occur.

RESOLUTION
==========

A supported fix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to
correct the problem that is described in this article. Apply it only to
computers that are experiencing this specific problem. This fix may receive
additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem,
Microsoft recommends that you wait for the next Windows NT 4.0 service pack that
contains this fix.

To resolve this problem immediately, contact Microsoft Product Support Services
