SYMPTOMS
========

When you play Microsoft Baseball 2001, the game screen may be distorted and
textures in the game may disappear. In addition, the computer may stop
responding (hang).

CAUSE
=====

This behavior can occur if a video adapter based on the Chromatic Research Mpact
2 3DVD chip set is installed in your computer.

RESOLUTION
==========

To work around this issue, disable 3D hardware acceleration in Baseball 2001:

1. Start Baseball 2001.

2. On the Home Plate screen, click Options.

3. Click the Graphics tab.

4. Under Mode, click Software.

5. Click OK.
