SYMPTOMS
========

When you search for HTML-converted Microsoft Word documents, the summary shows
the XML document properties.

CAUSE
=====

The Microsoft Office properties (located in the XML island) in a Microsoft
Office document that is saved as an HTML file are emitted as text content.

WORKAROUND
==========

Put a description meta tag in the generated HTML document to override the
abstract properties.

RESOLUTION
==========

A supported fix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to
correct the problem that is described in this article. Apply it only to
computers that are experiencing this specific problem. This fix may receive
additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem,
Microsoft recommends that you wait for the next Windows NT, Windows 2000 or Site
Server service pack that contains this fix.

To resolve this problem immediately, contact Microsoft Product Support Services
