SYMPTOMS
========
If you have many controls on a form, changing the name of controls in the
Properties window sometimes causes the Visual Basic integrated development
environment (IDE) to crash with an Access Violation.
This crash occurs very rarely.
STATUS
======
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a bug in the Microsoft products that are
listed at the beginning of this article. This bug was corrected in the latest
service pack for Visual Studio 6.0.
