SYMPTOMS
========

When you attempt to install or use the Microsoft Zone software on a Microsoft
Windows NT 4.0-, a Microsoft Windows 2000-, or a Microsoft Windows XP-based
computer, you may receive the following error message:

  Failed to write settings to registry.

CAUSE
=====

This behavior can occur if you are not logged on to the computer as an
Administrator.

RESOLUTION
==========

To resolve this issue, log off the computer, and then log on to the computer as
a user with Administrator rights.
