SYMPTOMS
========
Internet Information Services (IIS) may generate an Access Violation error
message in the Inetinfo.exe process if certain characters are present in a
certain position of the HTTP-request header. The Inetinfo.exe process is
automatically restarted if an Access Violation error message occurs in it.
RESOLUTION
==========
To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows 2000. For

NOTE: To view the version number, right-click the file in Windows Explorer, click
Properties, and then click the Version tab.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that

This problem was first corrected in Windows 2000 Service Pack 1.
