SYMPTOMS
========

When you attempt to start one of the programs listed at the beginning of this
article, you may receive one of the following error messages:

   - Empires2 has executed an invalid instruction in Empires2.icd.

   - Empires2 has executed an invalid instruction in Empires2.exe.

   - Pandora has executed an invalid instruction in Pandora.icd.

   - Pandora has executed an invalid instruction in Pandora.exe.

CAUSE
=====

This behavior can occur if one of the following Cyrix microprocessors is
installed in your computer:

- Cyrix 486DX

- Cyrix 6x86

- Cyrix MediaGX

The Cyrix processors mentioned in this article are not compatible with the
programs listed at the beginning of this article.
