SYMPTOMS
========

When you use Windows Explorer to view a folder list, the Last Modified time and
date may be displayed incorrectly for folders.

CAUSE
=====

This issue can occur if you are using Windows Explorer to read a Novell Netware
Server.


RESOLUTION
==========

To resolve this issue, visit the Novell Technical Support Web site:

  http://support.novell.com

To work around this issue, use one of the following methods:

- Click File, and then click Properties for the folder you want. The Created
  Date of the folder is displayed.

- Use File Manager (Winfile.exe) to view the Last Modified Date or Time.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products that are
listed at the beginning of this article.

The Last Modified information for files is displayed correctly. Windows NT
Explorer, File Manager, and the "DIR" command in MS-DOS display the Last
Modified information correctly.
