combat "spam" mail, or junk mail. The content of the sites varies, but most
provide the following information:

- Explanations of spam mail.

- Guidelines for how to prevent spam mail.

- Sources where you can report or register hosts that allow open relaying.

- Tools to determine if a Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) host is open to
  relay mail.

- Tools to determine Domain Name System (DNS) information.

- Request for Comments (RFC) specifications or links to the RFC specifications
  that pertain to relaying.
