SYMPTOMS
========

Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 2 includes a new feature that forces users to use
strong passwords. For additional information, click the article number below to

The strong password policy states that the password may not contain your user
name or any part of your full name; however, this does not hold true. For
example, a user who is named "Userfirstname Userlastname" can successfully
create the password "xxx*Userlastname123."

RESOLUTION
==========

A supported fix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to
correct the problem described in this article and should be applied only to
systems experiencing this specific problem.
