SYMPTOMS
========

When you click Fly Now in Microsoft Fighter Ace II, the program may stop
responding (hang).

CAUSE
=====

This behavior can occur if the following conditions are true:

- A Diamond Viper V330 video adapter is installed in your computer.

- The video driver installed on your computer is outdated.

- Direct 3D hardware acceleration is enabled in Fighter Ace II.

RESOLUTION
==========

To resolve this issue, download and install the latest video driver for the
Diamond Viper V330 video adapter from the following Diamond Web site:

  http://www.diamondlegacy.com/products/drivers/driver-index.htm

To work around this issue, disable 3D hardware acceleration in Fighter Ace II:

1. Start Fighter Ace II.

2. Click the Settings tab.

3. Under Display, click Software.

4. Click Fly Now.
