SYMPTOMS
========

When you play Microsoft Flight Simulator 2000, the screen may turn black, or the
scenery may flicker or be distorted.

CAUSE
=====

This behavior can occur if both of the following conditions are true:

- A Number Nine FX Reality 334 video adapter is installed in your computer.

- The screen resolution in the game is set to 1024 x 768 pixels.

RESOLUTION
==========

To resolve this issue, download and install the latest version of the video
driver for the Number Nine FX Reality 334 video adapter from the following
Number Nine Web site:

  http://www.nine.com

To work around this issue, reduce the screen resolution in the game. To do this:

1. On the Options menu, point to Settings, and then click Display.

2. In the Resolution box, click a lower resolution setting, and then click the
  CHECK MARK.
