This article describes how to import Microsoft Outlook Express contacts into
Microsoft Expedia Streets and Trips or Microsoft MapPoint.

To import Microsoft Outlook Express contacts into Expedia Streets and Trips or
MapPoint:

1. Start Outlook Express.

2. On the File menu, point to Export, and then click Address Book.

3. Click "Text File (Comma Separated Values)," and then click Export.

4. In the Save Exported File As box, type the path and file name of the file you
  want to export in the "Save exported file as" box, and then click Next.

5. In the "Select the fields you wish to export" box, click to select the fields
  you want to export, and then click Finish.

6. Quit Outlook Express.

7. Start Streets and Trips or MapPoint.

8. On the File menu, click Import Data.

9. In the "Files of Type" box, click "Text Files (*.txt, *.csv, *.tab, *.asc),"
  click the file you created in step four, and then click Open.

10. Under "Choose the delimiter that separates your fields," click Comma, and
  then click Next.

11. Choose a column heading for each column, and then click Finish.
