SYMPTOMS
========

You may notice that the SnmpSendMsg() API in the Snmpapi.dll file does not
produce traps if a LAN adapter is not installed in the computer. Traps are not
produced on Dial-up Networking interfaces by design, so you may notice these
symptoms on computers with only a Dial-up Networking interface.

RESOLUTION
==========

A supported fix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to
correct the problem described in this article and should be applied only to
systems experiencing this specific problem.
