SYMPTOMS
========

When you run one of the programs listed at the beginning of this article, sound
playback in the program may be choppy, scratchy, or distorted.

CAUSE
=====

This behavior can occur if an Aztech Direct Sound sound card is installed in
your computer, and the driver for the sound card is outdated.

RESOLUTION
==========

To resolve this issue, contact your hardware manufacturer for information about
how to obtain the latest driver for your Aztech Direct Sound sound card.
