SYMPTOMS
========

The SNA Server Windows 3.x client software (Wnap.exe and Win3270.exe) may fail
with an Access Violation error in the following configurations:

- When you install on a computer running Windows 98 Second Edition

- After you install Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 on Windows 98, where the SNA
  Win 3.x client had been working with no problems prior to the upgrade to
  Internet Explorer 5

On computers running Windows 98, the Access Violation error message may be
similar to the following:

  WNAP caused a general protection fault
  in module WNAP.EXE at 0005:00000a10.

CAUSE
=====

When you run the SNA Windows 3.x client on the above Windows 98 configurations,
the SNA client components are exhausting their local program stack space, which
results in unexpected failures in the SNA client components.
