SYMPTOMS
========

After you create a new user policy for a Windows 2000 domain and apply it to a
global group that contains users with computers running Windows NT 4.0
Workstation, a user who logs on with a computer running Windows NT 4.0
Workstation does not receive the new policy. Users belonging to the same group
with computers that run Windows 2000 Professional do receive the new policy.

Windows NT Server or Workstation 4.0

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows NT 4.0 or the

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT 4.0 and Windows NT
Server 4.0, Terminal Server Edition.

This problem was first corrected in Windows NT Server 4.0 Service Pack 6 and
Windows NT Server 4.0, Terminal Server Edition Service Pack 6.
