SYMPTOMS
========

If you choose to remove Microsoft Encarta Reference Suite 99 during the
installation of Microsoft Encarta Reference Suite 2000, Setup does not remove
all Encarta Reference Suite 99 files from your hard disk.

RESOLUTION
==========

To work around this issue:

1. Start Microsoft Windows Explorer.

2. Click the PLUS SIGN (+) next to the hard disk on which Microsoft Windows is
  installed.

3. Click the PLUS SIGN (+) next to Program Files.

4. Right-click Microsoft Reference, click Delete, and then click Yes.

5. Quit Windows Explorer.

6. On the desktop, right-click the Recycle Bin icon, click Empty Recycle Bin,
  and then click Yes.

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Encarta Reference
Suite 2000.
