SYMPTOMS
========

When you run Windows NT using one or more filter drivers (such as virus scanners
or quota software), the system may fail with a STOP code 0x7F
(UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP) and the first parameter of 8 (Double Fault).


RESOLUTION
==========

A supported fix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to
correct the problem described in this article and should be applied only to
systems experiencing this specific problem.
