SYMPTOMS
========

You may receive a STOP 0xC000021a error message on a Terminal Server when you
run the Pviewer.exe Resource Kit tool, or when you run any performance tool that
attempts to gather "costly counters." Costly counters are a set of four data
items that can be retrieved (for example, thread details or process image names
that take extra processing to gather the data for).

RESOLUTION
==========

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows NT Server
4.0, Terminal Server Edition. For additional information, please see the

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products that are
listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was first corrected in
Windows NT 4.0 Server, Terminal Server Edition, Service Pack 5.
