SYMPTOMS
========
When you right-click a selected word in Microsoft Word 2000, the Define command
may not be present on the shortcut menu.
CAUSE
=====
This behavior can occur if the word you want to define is located within a block
of bulleted or numbered text.
RESOLUTION
==========
To work around this issue, use one of the following methods.
Use the Define Button on the Toolbar
------------------------------------
Click the word you want to define, and then click the Define button on the
standard toolbar.
Use the Look Up Reference Command on the Tools Menu
---------------------------------------------------
1. Click the word you want to define.
2. On the Tools menu, click Look Up Reference.
3. Under "Available reference titles," click Encarta World English Dictionary,
and then click OK.
4. When Encarta World English Dictionary 2000 starts, press ENTER.
