SYMPTOMS
========

When you use the Microsoft Exchange Server Event Scripting Service with a custom
script, it may stop with the following error message:

  Event ID 5
  Description
  An unexpected MAPI error occurred. Error returned was [0x80004001].

RESOLUTION
==========

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Exchange Server
version 5.5. For additional information, please see the following article in the
Microsoft Knowledge Base:

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products that are
