SYMPTOMS
========
Post-SP5 hotfixes for the Tcpip.sys driver dated April 28, 1999 to May 28, 1999
contain a regression that could cause your multiprocessor computer to stop
responding (hang).
CAUSE
=====
This problem occurs because of changes made in earlier hotfixes included an
error in locking code. This error can cause your multiprocessor computer to
"deadlock" or hang.
RESOLUTION
==========
Windows NT Server or Workstation 4.0

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows NT 4.0 or the

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT 4.0 and Windows NT
Server 4.0, Terminal Server Edition.
This problem was first corrected in Windows NT Server 4.0 Service Pack 6 and
Windows NT Server 4.0, Terminal Server Edition Service Pack 6.
