SYMPTOMS
========

A Microsoft PowerPoint 97 file may be corrupted when it is saved to a NetWare
Directory Services (NDS) server using Microsoft Client Services for NetWare on a
Windows NT workstation that is running Norton AntiVirus version 4.x or 5.x.



RESOLUTION
==========

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows NT 4.0 or
the individual software update. For information on obtaining the latest service
pack, please go to:

==========

To work around this behavior, clear the Created or Download check box in Norton
AntiVirus.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products that are
listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was first corrected in
Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 6.
