SYMPTOMS
========

When you log off a computer (and you are not logged on as an administrator), the
state of the NumLock key on your keyboard is not saved.

RESOLUTION
==========

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows NT 4.0 or
the individual software update. For information on obtaining the latest service

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products that are
listed at the beginning of this article.

This behavior is by design in Windows NT 4.0 Terminal Server Edition, Windows
2000 Server, and Windows 2000 Advanced Server running Terminal Services.
